Dr. Daniel S. Schipani is Argentine, and Emeritus Professor of Pastoral Care and Counseling at the Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary, in Elkhart, United States; Affiliate Professor of Pastoral and Spiritual Care at McCormick Theological Seminary and S. Francisco Theological Seminary. He previously was Academic Dean and Pastoral Council Professor at the Evangelical Seminary of Puerto Rico in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Dr. Schipani is a lecturer and visiting professor at numerous institutions in the Americas and in Europe, and the author or editor of thirty books in the areas of psychology and pastoral counseling, education, and practical theology. Dr. Daniel S. Schipani is a Graduate and Professor in Psychology (University of Buenos Aires), Master in Peace Studies (Goshen Biblical Seminary), Doctor in Psychology (Universidad Católica Argentina), and Doctor of Philosophy with a specialty in Practical Theology ( Princeton Theological Seminary). He is an ordained minister of the Mennonite Church, and a member of various professional and academic organizations, including the Association for Hispanic Theological Education, Canadian Association for Spiritual Care, International Association for Spiritual Care, Society for Intercultural Pastoral Care & Counseling, International Academy of Practical Theology, and Society for Pastoral Theology.
