Deborah H.C. Gin is director of teacher research and development at ATS. At Azusa Pacific University she served as a Principal Investigator at the Center for Teaching, Learning, and Assessment and as an Associate Professor of Ministry at Azusa Pacific Seminary. She previously served as the director of diversity studies at Azusa. At ATS, Gin has led projects to make data more accessible to the public, both at the policy and programmatic levels, such as the new ATS data visualization tool and the ATS Data and Research website. She oversees teams of consultants conducting research on changes in leadership in ATS schools, in the alumni workforce, in organizational and educational models, and in the impact of COVID on ATS schools. Gin is a member of the VALUE initiative of the Association of American Colleges and Universities. She earned an MDiv from Azusa Pacific Seminary, a Master of Music from the University of Southern California, and a Ph.D. in higher education from Claremont Graduate University. She and her husband reside in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA.
