Lucía Brenes Retana was born in San José-Costa Rica. She has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Costa Rica and a Bachelor's Degree in Theological Sciences from the Latin American Biblical University. She has worked in private practice on topics such as: addictions and codependency, care for children with disabilities and their families, care for adolescents, young mothers and their children, care for children and adolescents on the street, care, and psychological support to boys / girls, families in a condition of social risk and extreme poverty. She is an advisor and trainer at the national level in sensitization for work with children with disabilities. She has been a facilitator of training courses at the Biblical Institute of the Latin American Biblical University. She works in a government institution that serves children, pregnant and lactating mothers at social risk and extreme poverty. She is a visiting professor at the Latin American Biblical University.
