As the President and Founder of Urban Strategies, Treviño Cummins has been a catalyst for supporting, equipping, and mobilizing people of faith to love their neighbors in communities in the United States, Puerto Rico, and Central America. Lisa has led Urban Strategies to work across a variety of areas including youth development, early child development, family strengthening, health and wellness, and comprehensive housing for the most marginalized. Prior to establishing Urban Strategies in 2003, Treviño Cummins served in the White House Office for Faith-Based and Community Initiatives as well as completed a 12-year tenure as Senior Vice President of Community Development for Bank of America. Treviño Cummins co-authored, Inheritance: Discovering the Richness of Latino Family & Culture and has served as an advisor to World Vision, Christian Community Development Association, Wycliffe’s Seed Company, the Alianza Nacional Cristiana de Latino Americanos (ANCLA), and the Mariano Rivera Foundation.
