Juan Martínez was born and raised in the city of San Salvador. He has a degree in Architecture from the Albert Einstein University of El Salvador and has a Master of Divinity from the Seminary Fuller Theological. He was ordained to Pastoral Ministry in 2013, by the Network of Churches of the Reino, a network of evangelical churches in El Salvador, Honduras, and the US, where he worked as Pastor of youth and communications. Since 2019 he is a team member of Diploma "Church Response to the Migration Crisis" as a recruiter and mentor. This is a program created in collaboration with the Fuller Latino Center, Mateo 25, and Sojourners, under the leadership of the Rev. Dr. Alexia Salvatierra. Juan is also Director of Communications at Casa Chirilagua. In addition, he attends the edition of the newsletter of daily devotionals (Wakeups!) from the Red Letter Christians movement. Occasionally, he is A teaching assistant at Fuller Seminary and teaches Bible courses at the Institute of Biblical Formation, El Salvador. He currently lives in Washington DC with his wife. Sandy, where he enjoys city walks, documentaries, series, good coffee, and music Latin American.
